What is the minimum age to use the pool area?
All ages are welcome to use our 15-metre pool. 
Please note we have family swim times in place between 9am-12pm and 4pm-7pm, outside of this is adults only.

  • Individuals must be 16 or over to use our gym, jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna.
  • Children under 4 must have 1 on 1 adult supervision in the water at all times.
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times.
  • Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult with a clear view of the child at all times.


What is the minimum age for spa treatments?

Spa treatments are for 18s and over.


How can I book a treatment?

Do I need to pre-book my treatment?
Yes, pre-booking is strongly recommended to ensure availability, although walk-in appointments may occasionally be available.


When should I arrive for my treatment?
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment to complete a consultation form.


What facilities can I use with treatment booking?
Guests with treatment bookings have access to the thermal area (T&Cs apply) and relaxation areas prior to their treatment.


Can non-hotel guests book treatments?
Absolutely. All guests are welcome. Please contact us using the details above to make an enquiry or booking.


Can I avail of the thermal area if I don't have a treatment booked?
Yes, the thermal area is available for guests of the hotel to use at their leisure with no extra cost. Non-residents are more than welcome to contact us regarding pricing for day passes, etc.


Are treatments and facilities available during pregnancy?
Yes, we offer a selection of pregnancy-safe treatments. However, please note that use of the thermal area is not recommended during pregnancy.


Can I use the facilities if I’ve recently had my hair coloured?
Yes, you are welcome to use the facilities after hair colouring.


Is swimwear required in the spa?
Yes, swimwear is required when using the spa facilities.


What should I wear during my treatment?
You may wear your own underwear, or we can provide disposable underwear. Please note that wet swimsuits are not suitable for treatments.


Is there a mobile phone policy?
To maintain a peaceful environment, mobile phones are not permitted within the spa area.


Will I have a place to store my belongings?
Yes, each client is provided with a locker for secure storage of personal items.


What is your cancellation policy?

  • Cancellations within 12 hours: 100% charge
  • Cancellations within 24 hours: 50% charge
  • Changes can be made up to 48 hours prior to your appointment
  • Groups of 4 or more: Please cancel at least 5 days in advance


Are robes and towels provided?
Yes, we provide each guest who has booked a treatment with a robe, slippers, and towel. Guests booked in for the thermal area are provided with a towel.


I have a specific health condition. Can I still have a treatment?
In most cases, yes. Please consult with our reception team ahead of time so we can accommodate your needs safely.


Is the spa wheelchair accessible?
The Lír Spa & Health Club is wheelchair accessible. However, please note that the thermal area has limited accessibility. Please contact us for more details or assistance.
